LOVE YOUR HAIR!
I’ve seen this method done previously and I have tried it. Unfortunately, the final product was a mess! Perhaps I need a little more growth. Also, I think I mistakenly thought that it was done on freshly washed wet hair- not hair that washed, allowed to dry, and then re-wet. My attempts with gel on wet hair hasn’t worked.. You’ve given me new resolve to adjust my technique and try again. I’m determined to successfully figure coil.

You are so welcome and you should defintely try again. In the video my hair is freshly washed but in between setting up for the video etc..it had dried a bit so I just rewet with my spray bottle. I guess when I think about it my hair is never soaking wet when I do my coils it’s always kind of wet damp and as it starts to dry I just rewet w/my spray bottle.
